1.4460 (AISI 329 – SS2324) is a duplex stainless steel with high corrosion resistance and excellent processability. AISI 329 has a very good corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-containing environments and is extra resistant to pitting corrosion, gap corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and corrosion fatigue. It also has high durability and toughness.
