Nitronic 40 (alloy 21-6-9) initial properties are high strength in annealed condition, excellent corrosion resistance at high temperatures, easy welding and processing capability. Thanks to these features are used in many aviation applications. Even at temperatures below -254 ° C, the ability to combine high strength and toughness properties makes the Nitronic 40 (alloy 21-6-9) very suitable even for applications in freezing temperatures.

NITRONIC 40 GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

Nitronic 40 (alloy 21-6-9) is a high manganese austenitic stainless steel.
