HAYNES 282 (Alloy 282, UNS N07208)
Haynes 282 has excellent creep resistance in the temperature range from 650 to 930 ° C (1200 – 1700 ° F). Haynes 282 was developed for high temperature structural applications. The Haynes 282 ruggedness is a new alloy that exceeds Waspalloy and Rene 41 Hay.
PERFECT HIGH TEMPERATURE STRENGTH
The Haynes 282 alloy was developed for use at high temperatures. Haynes 282 is used in gas turbines and turbine parts especially used in aviation sector and land.
Haynes 282 features a combination of creep resistance, thermal stability, weldability and workability. The Haynes 282 creep resistance is higher than waspaloy alloy and approximates Rene 41 alloy.
